I usually prefer to believe that the people claiming to be the 'loyal opposition' are in fact that. I also prefer to believe that they are not the crazy people that several media outlets portray them as.
And then I encountered this little beauty. Make sure you watch the whole thing.
Words fail me. Anyone who knows me can tell you exactly how hard that is.
These are the people who want us to trust them? Correct me if I'm mistaken, please, but wasn't the last person to call for book burning Adolf Hitler? Come to think on it, he also got his start in a pub...
Personally, I'm wondering how or even if the boys and girls over at FNC will run this. Apparently it was all over CNN...who Fox claims weren't giving the whole 'teabagging' thing any attention. Frankly, if these people are the alternative, I'm now more inclined than ever to stick with Brother Obama's plan.

ReplyDeleteThey are tossing torches at people for "brainwashing" and yet they want to keep their children from learning anything different than what they think is right?
Did these people worship Bush or.. I don't understand why they are reacting so violently to what's going on. I had a whole rant but I'm running into speechlessness myself.. wow.
This is scary.
Oh yes I forgot this part; Fox news being the only truthful source of news out there.. that bit almost made me choke.
ReplyDeleteIf by "truthful" these people mean ridiculous, I will agree.
Example: I was at my mother's house in NC for Christmas and she had Fox News on. Completely disregarding all of the horribly ridiculous "news" that was being spat, I realized that even the commercials were hair-raising. One in particular was advertising a magazine (I do not recall the title, sadly) about how "Liberals were out to take your money!!" This made me stop dead in my tracks, do a one-eighty, burst into mocking laughter, and exclaim (exact words) "what in the goddamn bloody hell are you watching??"
